These are the flowers I had at church in memory of my husband, Alan. I asked the florist for something spring like but masculine. When I got them home they were perfect with my tablescape!
I found the placement at PTO thrift store as well the candle holders and the margarita glass. The water pitcher is a PB pitcher also from a thrift store. The blue and metal detail glasses have been in my March Tablescape. They are from Mexico and belonged to my grandma P. The plate is from the DT and the chili pepper necklace is from a cousins wedding shower. My everyday flatware completes the setting. I wish the thrift store had another placemat. This was the only one I could find.
The little sombrero I found in Alan's things. It is signed to "Al Ritz". When Alan was younger he worked summers at Lido Beach on Long Island. There were entertainers that performed: Rosemary Clooney, Milton Berle and the Ritz Brothers. I am guessing this little hat was from the Ritz Brothers. I don't really know much about them. They were before my time!
I found the little maraca at Value World...only one of course. With my coupon it was 20 cents! Adds a lot to the table I think. I will be linking up with Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday. Click on the button to see other fabulous designs.
