Fourth of July Parade

A beautiful 4th of July day sitting under a large shade tree on the "diag" across from our beautiful old church.

Strike up the band!.......what?....no bands?.....darn.

The color guard. Please stand as the flag passes you....

The Grand Marshalls. Meryl Davis and Charlie White. Olympic ice skating medal (silver?) winners. Also fellow Ann Arborites.

Washtenaw County Sheriffs mounted division.

  2. Love the 4th of July parades in the towns. Looks like you had a nice day. We had a small kid parade which was fun to watch as some of the kids went all out in amazing outfits and decorations.

  9. Your parade post took me back to when my older brother was still alive.. he was always the 'clown' in the parade in his small town, in the midwest! How I miss him!

  11. I love parades. Last year we had our pontoon in a boat parade here at the lake but this year we just played in the lake.I enjoyed coming and visiting hope you can stop by my place soon. Debbie
