New Living Room

It took me two months to finish the living room. I think it is done! I really like the color of the sofa. The manufacturer calls it sky blue. I bought it on line from Walmart marketplace. Turned out to be Wayfair. They used to be CNS. It was shipped quickly and at no charge via Fedex. I had to assemble it which wasn't too hard. The trunk is a thrift store find. So is the brown chair.
The fireplace I painted last summer. I liked it so well I decided to keep it in the living room. Since the fireplace burns a very stinky canned gel fuel I don't use it anymore. I found the mirror at Salvation Army. I think I will look for a fireplace candle holder to use with my flameless candles The chair was my maternal grandma's. She always called it the "Danish Modern" chair. The upholstery she had done about 15 years ago and fits with my colors perfectly! The roses were 6 for $3.99 at Aldi. Had to have them!
Another view of the chair.

This chair I found at the PTO thrift store. At first I was going to paint and reupholster it but now I like it and the colors coordinate well with the rest of the room. The rug is from QVC. I really like the colors. It was very reasonably priced for the size. If you have looked for large area rugs you know how pricey they can be.
A little bench/footstool I bought at HomeGoods.
The media console is also from QVC. Since I have a very small car it is hard for me to haul large items. Online ordering is perfect...especially with free shipping!  I forgot to take pictures before is finished....on the Suzy!!
The console will hold a much larger t.v. For now I like to be able to have some display space. Maybe later I will buy a larger t.v.

Finished and accessorized.

Decorated for Easter.

Sparky. Unsure about the new things. Sparky is a creature of habit and does not like change.

I hope you enjoyed the tour of my new living room. Up next: Dining Room Reveal. Stay tuned!
