This past week I have seen many Fall/Halloween vignettes in blogland. I thought it was a bit earlier. I usually wait until October but......temptation got the best of me! Here is what I came up with....
I just shopped the house to find things. The candelabra I found a PTO thrift store last year. The black frame is a mirror which didn't show up well, that I found at Family Dollar. The white rose wreath is metal that I found at Salvation Army. The silhouette is my step-daughter when she was about three years old. The BEWARE sign I bought last year at Walmart for .25 cents. The white pumpkins I bought at Target about 4 years ago. They were on sale but still expensive by my standards today! The lamp was on another table...no cost there!
I tried to get a close up of the wreath. There is a flying crow perch on the top but he blends into the black of the frame. Another crow sits just beneath the wreath. They are both from the Dollar Tree a couple of years ago. I might change the ribbon on the wreath to black or black and white. What do you think? I like it. It is different from what I have done before.
I found this hat at the thrift store the other day. I was looking for a vintage top hat like the one I saw on Arbor House Lane blog. I think this is a fedora. For only $1.50 it is perfect!
I will be joining Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday. Thanks for stopping by!
Lovvvve your black and white theme. The white pumpkins are sooo cute and my grandson would love the idea of one wearing a cowboy hat Ü
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS!! I LOVE black & white (cream) for fall. I especially love the silhouette of your step-daughter and your creamy pumpkins. I'm planning a black & white table for Thanksgiving and for a fall brunch I am hosting in early November :)

Oh it looks beautiful. I love fall done in black and white. You've pulled together some fabulous thrifty finds to create a stunning vignette. Love the hat too. lol Thanks so much for linking to TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! I like how you used the silhouette too. Your pumpkins are so pretty. I haven't gotten ready for Halloween yet but your table is an inspiration.
