A Lucky Thrifty Day!

WOW! Did I have great luck this week at thrift stores!
I found all the silverplate at Salvation Army. Some of which was very tarnished. I used my homemade cleaner, baking soda and water to clean some of the pieces. I had to resort to silver cleaner for the tea pot.

The baby spoon and fork are in my grandmother's pattern. What luck!
They where very tarnished...I spent quite a bit of time cleaning just those pieces!
Two small creamers for my white collection. The one on the right is from Martha Stewart collection. I have a larger one just like it. They will be a cute display.
I found this small tray at the PTO thrift store. It was only fifty cents and made in ITALY! I will give it to my mother (she doesn't read my blog, she doesn't have a computer!). She likes things that are made somewhere other than China!
I thought I would serve candy from this small server.
I love the Champagne cooler. I plan to put an orchid or amaryllis in it. I have seen this done on many blogs and it looks very elegant!
My last bargain was this pine cone wreath. It was only $3.00 at the thrift store. My mother and grandma used to make them years ago, but they don't last forever.....I have no idea what happened to the ones they made.
