A Valentine's Vignette

The corner of my counter has become an area for seasonal vignettes. This is how the corner looked before I moved the tray, hearts and love tiles to the table. The pot, I am not sure if it for tea, coffee or hot chocolate, and the tea for one set I bought at Homes Goods a few years ago. The red flatware was a Christmas gift from a friend and the pitcher they are in is from a thrift store. So is the tray, the heart shapes dishes, (under the tea for one set) and the red books.

This is how is looks now. I found the mugs at PTO. I think I will give them to my mother and her friend for Valentine's Day. Maybe. I don't know.  I think they will get a kick out of them! I think they are cute.

I found the candle holders at Salvation Army last week. The pair was $4.99. Not bad. Sometimes the SA here has outrageous prices on some items. The candles are flameless, battery operated. I really like the battery ones. You can have them in unexpected places. And if you fall asleep not to worry you won't burn the house down!

A close up of the girlie mug. The lace around the bottom is so cute!

I will be joining Marty at a Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday. Click on the button to take a look. Thanks for stopping by. Lisa
