Mardi Gras Tablescape

 This year I decided to set a Mardi Gras theme on the kitchen island. I haven't done a Mardi Gras theme before so it was fun to look for gold, purple and green items as these are not colors I typically use.

 I found the purple pitcher at the PTO thrift store. The purple vase from Salvation Army. The beads are from the dollar store.

 The glasses and coins are from the dollar store as well.

I didn't realize the lens was missing from the glasses until I got home.

 Here I am trying no flash just available light.

 The gold charger I had. The white and gold dinner plates are part of the set that was my grandma's. The salad plates I found at Salvation Army. The colors are perfect for the Mardi Gras theme and they were half off.....even better!

 I found two finials like this at the PTO thrift store. They are metal and very heavy. I am not sure if that is a fleur de lis.

 Vintage green goblets. Grandma used them for water goblets.
