Here is this year's Halloween vignette on the entertainment center. It is very similar to last year. My inspiration was Pottery Barn October 2011 catalog pages 10-11. I tried to download the picture...no luck and now I can't find the catalog.....argh!

The haunted house silhouette I bought yesterday also at the thrift store. It is velvety and was covered with dust and fur. I cleaned with a lint brush. Brand new! The chandelier picture is metal. I found it last year at Joanne's on clearance for $2.00. I kept it with the Halloween decorations. The little girl silhouette is my step daughter when she was about 2 or 3 years old. The beaded garland I found at Home Goods.
The haunted house candle is battery operated. I love battery operated candles. I have a tendency to fall asleep and forget about them. Battery operated is perfect for me! The two stands it is on I found at Salvation Army for .99 cents each.
The silver plated candelabra is one I found at a thrift store. I have been collecting silver plate for about a year now and have several pieces.
My dining room hutch and table with a few Halloween decorations. More to come I am sure!
The spider web I found at the Dollar Tree. Pottery Barn catalog has a collection of hanging plates with spider webs on them. I thought I was lucky to find these!
My dining room table. The picture is a bit dark. There is a crow and spiders on the tray. You can see my shadow and Sparky's bed....oh well!
The corner of my kitchen island. I love the white and metal lamp I found at Salvation Army. I really like the look of a lamp in the kitchen. Most of my counter space has cabinetry above it but this lamp works well.
A close up of the lamp.
Faux white roses and a view of the dining table and beyond. Thanks for stopping by. I will be joining Marty at Tabletop Tuesday and Susan and Between Naps on the Porch.
I LOVE that champagne bucket man...way too cute :) Laurel@chippingwithcharm
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Very creative! Love the champagne bucket with the pumpkin and a hat! I like how you mixed the black and white pieces into the vignette...
ReplyDeleteThe top hat is adorable! Love your vignette.

ReplyDeleteBlessings My friend,
Hi, Lisa! I THINK I have those pages in my files!!! I'm at my parents' house right now, but I'll be heading home in a couple of hours and will look. If I find it, I'll email it to you.
ReplyDeleteBoy do I love all of your silver! It just makes everything look wonderful. Love the white pumpkin too!! I am a battery candle person too...especially because of the three cats who could definitely set things on fire with real ones!
