Christmas Dinner

Since I haven't posted all month I thought I better get busy and share some of my designs! This is my table set for Christmas Dinner.
I found the red transferware plates by Johnson Brothers at TJ Maxx. The red chargers are from Walmart last year and the white plates are thrift store finds also by Johnson Brothers. My everyday flatware completes the setting. The wine glasses where a shower or wedding gift to my grandma 71 years ago. The red scroll napkins are vintage from the thrift store. The red napkin and red velvet napkin ring are from Walmart. So is the tablecloth.

A better view of the glasses.
Here I was experimenting with no flash. The champagne cooler was a thrift store find. The reindeer we bought at Von Maur several years ago. The salt and pepper shakers are Waterford that I won at auction.
Yes, I know the candle is very crooked! It is warped. They belonged to my grandmother. They have to be at least 40 years old! I will be joining Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday and Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday. Thanks for stopping by!

  6. My favorite element of your lovely tablescape is your grandmother's 40 year old candles. Aren't family treasures just the very best! Thank you for sharing your charming design. Happy New Year! Cherry Kay
