Second Sunday in Advent Tablescape

The second Sunday in Advent is Love.
I found the dishes at PTO thrift store on Labor Day 2010 for $5.00. They were having 50% off! Someone in blogland told me that these dishes were a grocery store promotion item in the 90's. I have service for four including dinner, salad, dessert plates, soup and berry bowls, tea cups and saucers, sugar and creamer and two serving pieces.

The flatware is my everyday service, Dansk, Torun is the pattern.

The "water" goblets as my grandma calls them are either a wedding or shower gift to her 72 years ago!

I love the shape of the tea cup!

Mr. Reindeer has a broken antler. His "hoofs" are too close together so he tips over easily. Hence the broken antler. I have tried and tried to glue with no luck.
The ornaments are all vintage blown glass. They belonged to my grandmother.

Mercury glass and vintage ornaments.
A few shots by candlelight.

Thanks for stopping by. I will be joining Marty at Tabletop Tuesday and Susan Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.
